Dreaming of Christmas in July! Cant wait to give the snowman a home when I pull out the holiday decorations.

This was the first experienced kit I did with Clever Poppy (I’ve since done over a dozen!). I was slightly nervous when I saw they didn’t stitch along with you in the digital guide but I was very quickly relieved of any worries! The guide is so helpful and contains all you need; if you’ve done a couple beginner kits you will have absolutely zero issues stitching one of the experienced kits. I made the mistake of purchasing a different brand beginner kit initially and the instructions were impossible to follow. I thankfully found clever poppy shortly after.

All the kits are outstanding. The materials are quality and you always get more than what’s needed so it’s a great way to build up your supply stash. This pattern is much more detailed than beginner kits and has more stitch variety but the guide breaks it down into very doable sections. The pattern itself is beautiful and was the first piece I’ve displayed. Julie and the entire team really know the secret sauce to embroidery. They have opened the door wide open for me and my new hobby and I will forever be beyond thankful.

My mom purchased me an embroidery kit for my birthday from Amazon and I had never embroidered before. I had to YouTube every stitch, which helped! It came out great but I wanted to know that I was really doing a great job on my embroidery skills. So I purchased 4 kits from CP! I love that she walks you through all the steps, includes everything in the boxes and is very thorough. The only thing I dislike (working on my 6th embroidery, 4th from CP) is that we have to draw the pattern on. And I totally understand it’s so we can do anything we want from the very first step to the very last of sewing up the back. But it’s so hard to trace a pattern onto fabric with a pen that doesn’t easily press down while you’re holding it over the cardboard. I would pay a couple dollars more just to have patterns already drawn on or maybe if she had that option. Other than that, love love love Clever Poppy!! Starting my butterfly now!

I ordered two of the Christmas tree beginner embroidery kits from Clever Poppy after seeing an advertisement on Instagram. It arrived in good time, well before the holidays , and I found the kits and the accompanying videos a joy to work with. Everything , and I mean everything from floss to small scissors, was included. Best of all ,I made them for my daughters and one told me it was her favorite Christmas present of 2025. I highly recommend the Clever Poppy embroidery kits and plan to get more this year

This was more of a challenging pattern for me! The detail is wonderful (I especially love the detail of the girl pulling the tree!) and I am gifting it to my daughter and son-in-law who cut down their Christmas tree each year! I customized the house to look more like their house! So fun to do! ❤

I'm a sewist and have done a lot of cross-stitching, but I'm new to embroidery – this was a great place to start! Super cute pattern with a thoughtful intro to different stitch types. My only issue was a lack of written instruction; video instructions without text don't work for my brain, so I struggled there (even a downloadable PDF of the video transcripts would be helpful). Lots of cute patterns on this site to come back to, though!

I loved completing this beautiful project! It was my first time ever cross stitching and I don’t consider myself crafty but I loved every minute and it turned out beautifully! Julie’s tutorials were perfect and I loved her mantra of progress over perfection! I can’t wait to try my next one!

Loved this! I have crossed all my life, but I am new to embroidery. This is my second embroidery project and first guided with instruction. Julie was lovely. I absolutely loved this little Christmas tree kit. It was festive and fun to do right before the holidays. I gave it to my mom who taught me how to stitch when I was a little girl. I loved the modern colors. The scissors and pen and everything that was included. It was packaged so nicely. Very sweet to get the complementary needle minder for my first time purchase with clever Poppy. I am buying the monogrammed initial project to do next!

I was really pleased with the step by step videos. Anyone can do this!
